1 pkg beef hot dogs

1 pkg crescent roll sheets

ketchup to taste

mustard to taste

candy eyes

iceberg lettuce - 1 head chopped

romaine lettuce - 1 head chopped

6 carrots chopped

3 roma tomatoes diced

4 celery stalks chopped

ranch dressing - to taste

1 bag mini peppers

3 sliced oranges

I made a batch of bread dough for my mummy wrapped dogs but you can also buy crescent roll sheet dough containers at the store. They make for quick prep time.

Preheat your oven 375

Roll out your dough and cut dough into long thin strips for the mummy wrap.

Wrap one of your dough strips around your hot dog. Starting from the bottom moving up. As you get to the face of the mummy, leave a little room for the mummy's face and complete the wrap on the head of your mummy. Place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Once you have all of your mummy dogs ready, place them in your preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Depends on how quickly your dough cooks around the hot dog. Once golden brown, pull from your oven.

Pull together a salad. I like to combine shredded romaine lettuce and iceberg  lettuce in a big bowl. You might not want such a big salad so use what best fits your family. We like to keep our salads simple and add carrots, celery and maybe peppers.  Cut up a few oranges and you will have a delicious but festive meal for your family. Have fun creating memories with your family through food.
