2 cans chili
1 to 2 cans (10 oz) Diced Tomatoes with green chillies
1 can (15.5 oz) black beans
2 boxes - corn bread mix
Milk as needed
1 egg
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
This is my go to chili recipe. It is super easy to make and really yummy to eat. In a pot add two cans of chili, 2 cans of diced tomatoes and 1 can of black beans and stir together. Turn oven on a to a medium low setting to warm chili.
In a bowl add your corn bread mix and follow the back of the box. I like to add either one more egg than it calls or ½ a cup more of milk to my mixture. It helps the corn bread to come out moist. We slather our corn bread slices with butter and honey. So yummy.
