This is a fun way to dress up a hot dog for dinner. When my kids were little we made these a couple times. It's been a minute but we had fun eating them again recently. I like to have ingredient in separate bowls so my kids can choose what they want on their hot dog. This time we cut the onion and tomato in big chunks and honestly it made it difficult to eat. Dice those two ingredients and it will be perfect.

1 pkg beef hot dogs
1 pkg hot dog buns
1 small onion, diced
1 tomato cut into wedges
1 to 2 cups sharp cheese shredded
dill pickles sliced
ketchup to taste
mustard to taste
Grill up your hot dog in a frying pan or on your grill until cooked. Grate cheese, dice up tomatoes and onion and slice pickles in long thinner slices. Building your Chicago dog looks like this... Place your bun on your plate and add your hot dog, mustard and ketchup. Then add your sliced pickles and diced tomatoes, onions and grated cheese and enjoy. So yummy!!!
