BLTs (Bacon, Lettuce & Tomatoes). Simple. Fresh & yummy!! We love BLTs at our house.

1 loaf sliced bread

3 tomatoes sliced

12 slices bacon

1 head Romaine Lettuce

¾ c. mayonnaise

salt to taste

pepper to taste

Lay your bacon out on a pan that is covered with foil (for easy cleanup). Fill up your pan with bacon and place in your preheated oven at 425 degrees for 15 to 35 minutes. This depends on how crispy you like you bacon. We like ours crispy.

Put your toast in the toaster oven until golden brown and set aside.

Slice your tomatoes and set aside

Wash, dry and separate your lettuce and set aside.

After your bacon is done start to assemble your BLT by laying out your toasted bread in twos. Take a knife and spread mayonnaise on both pieces of toasted bread and start layering the bacon, lettuce and tomato. After shake some salt and pepper on top of your tomato and place the second piece of bread on top. All for these flavors together are so refreshing and delicious. This is perfect with soup in the cooler months or with fresh fruit in the summer months. Enjoy!
